Miscellaneous Account Health - Opening a Case You’ll have probably heard all sorts of different horror stories about seller accounts getting deactivated, locked or permanently banned for minor issues on Amazon. If you do not look after your account, then this may of course happen, so please ensure you make note of the following points.
Firstly, treat your Amazon Seller Account with as much care as you possibly can. Any issues, performance notifications, emails alongside anything inbetween which require attention need to be dealt with as quickly as you possibly can. If you have any issues and do need support then head into our Live Chat and we'll get things sorted together!
If you are changing any account details; ie. Switching from a Sole Trader to Ltd company, then please make sure you have all of the nnew documents in place before informing Amazon of the changes, as these will be requested. This will reduce the downtime on your account.
Make sure you're following all of Amazon's rules ie. Box and pallet sizes, package requirments, invoices etc. This will reduce your chances of receiving marks and warnings on your account, which of course reduce your overall account health.
Make sure that you'te selling your products on the correct listings, ie. If you are selling 150ml of baby milk, do not list this on a 300ml listing for a higher price. Customers will see they have received the wrong products and leave negative feedback on your account.
Most issues can come from doing FBM rather than FBA. Here, sellers often have issues with canceling orders, A-Z claims and valid tracking rates. We do not have to worry about any of these factors when it comes to FBA as Amazon is dealing with the entire process of our order fulfilment.
Ensure you are uploading invoices to all of your business customer orders. You can read through our walkthrough on what this is and how to do it by heading to the following guide:
